그레이스 오브제 (Grace Objet)* 그레이스 오브제는 백자를 바탕으로 그릇을 만들고 있습니다. 회화적 캐스팅(Casting) 기법으로 매우 얇고 가벼운 그릇을 빚는 심사영 대표는 몰드 위에 흙물을 60~70여회 여러 번 발라서 얇은 층이 겹을 이루는 섬세한 결을 만들어 냅니다. 켜켜이 발라진 얇은 층들은 특유의 맑고 강도 있는 겹을 지니게 되므로써 작가의 ‘사고하는 손’과 흙의 마티에르가 유기적으로 결합된 작가 특유의 사물을 이루어 냅니다.

Artist Shim Sa Young, the CEO of Grace Objet, makes a bowl based on white porcelain. She makes a very thin and light bowl with a pictorial casting technique. She coates with soil slip 60 to 70 times on the mold to create a delicate texture with a thin layer.
Coated thin layers have a unique clear and strong layer. In this way, her 'thinking hand'
and the matiere of the soil are organically combined to create an object unique to her.
